Giving reservation is not the issue. The real question is, can we reassess it and ensure it reaches those who truly deserve it?
Every detail I mentioned in the article is well-researched and backed by credible sources. I carry no bias towards any caste. My intention has never been to hurt or target anyone.
From your response, I sense that you are personally affected by this topic and I understand that. But my point is simple: what if we could make sure the benefits of reservation go to those who genuinely need support today? It should not matter which caste they belong to, what should matter is their current socio-economic reality.
Many families who have already benefited from reservation now have stable lives, good education, and financial strength. Maybe it is time to let someone else, who is still struggling, get that support.
Just think about this, Sandeep. I am not here to argue or impose my view. I only hope we can have a balanced discussion, without personal bias, and focus on how to uplift everyone who truly needs help, regardless of caste.
And who knows this reassessment will give us a better idea of the impact the reservation has had, the categories that never got any benefits, there are many positives that can come out.
I cannot change your mindset but at least I will make an attempt. And i agree i may have missed many things in my article and I am ready to learn if there is anything you wish to share and guide me and expect the same from you.
