We have started to take time for granted. Seconds, minutes, and hours pass, and we do not really care or feel guilty about it. We are wasting our limited time on earth rather than using it for something worthwhile. Find a purpose that will drive you every second of your life. Set short-term goals and give your best effort to achieve them.

The irony of life is that we are all familiar with all of this. There must have been someone already, who said all of this to you, or a moment when you must have realised the value of this. But here we are, going about our lives, waiting for the realisation to hit us hard.

Recognising the worth of time entails acknowledging that time is a valuable and limited resource. It means being mindful of how you spend your time and prioritising the things that are most important to you. It also means being punctual and reliable, as well as arriving on time for appointments and commitments. Respecting the worth of time also means respecting the time of others and not taking up more of their time than is necessary or appropriate. Recognising the worth of time allows you to maximise chances and prevent wasting time on trivial or ineffective activities.
