There are moments in life that shake you up, make you pause, and force you to see things differently. This was one of those.

A personal experience that changed everything.

I got the news, my uncle was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Just like that, my mind took off on a rollercoaster ride. Every possible thought hit me at once. Memories of him, childhood moments, family gatherings, all flashing before my eyes.

And then, the worst thoughts crept in. What if…?

In that moment, I realized how much we take life for granted. How we waste time on things that don’t matter while ignoring the people who do. How our priorities have flipped. We are valuing lifeless things over real human connections. It hit me hard. Humanity is fading, and we do not even see it happening.

Will I ever talk to my uncle again?

I reached the hospital, my mind still racing. As I walked toward the ICU, I braced myself. And then, through the glass…

This beautifully captures the fragility of life. Moments of relief and grief coexist, reminding us to cherish our time.
