You are courageous women Esther and I salute you for that. In my Village the issue is the same, somehow the expectations from a girl are very different and the responsibilities on her head very high.
But as I write this I can't thank my parents enough for their upbringing. Now for us genders do not matter and we are a happy family. My sisters are getting higher education ready to face the biased society and they have full support. And by the way things have started to change around us. The people who used to mock my parents for sending girls for education are reconsidering their decision. I hope things change...
I really hope the coming generation will take the right path and not the gender biased path.
